Trial, returns & warranty

Do you offer a sleep trial?

We believe it takes time to truly know if a mattress is right for you, which is why every Dwell mattress purchased through the DwellSleep.com website comes with a risk-free 100-night sleep trial described in greater detail in the Comfort Trial Policy. This gives you the opportunity to experience the mattress in your own home and decide if it’s the right fit for your sleep.

How long is the sleep trial?

Your Dwell mattress purchased through the DwellSleep.com website includes a sleep trial period up to 100 nights designed to give your body time to adjust and settle in. We recommend sleeping on your mattress for at least a month to allow for a proper break-in period before deciding.

What if I don’t love my mattress?

If your Dwell mattress isn’t the right fit, we’ll help make it right. Our team will guide you through the return process (subject to the terms of the Comfort Trial) and work with you to find a solution – whether that’s a return or an exchange – so you can feel confident in your decision.

How does the return process work?

If you decide your DwellSleep mattress purchased through the DwellSleep.com website isn’t the right fit, simply contact our support team with your order details. We’ll walk you through the next steps, which may include coordinating a pickup or providing instructions based on your location. We’ll handle the details so you don’t have to.

What does the Dwell warranty cover?

As provided in our Limited Warranty, your Dwell mattress is backed by a 10-year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. If something isn’t performing as it should due to how it was made, we’ll repair or replace it in accordance with our warranty terms.

What is not covered under the warranty?

The warranty is designed to cover manufacturing defects, not normal wear or everyday use or misuse. This means it does not cover things like:

  • Normal softening over time
  • Comfort preference changes
  • Stains, spills or damage from misuse
  • Improper support or foundation

Using a proper base and a mattress protector will help keep your mattress in good condition.

What qualifies as a defect?

A defect typically includes issues related to how the mattress was constructed, such as visible indentations greater than 1 inch that are not associated with improper support. These types of issues are evaluated as part of the warranty claim process.

How do I file a warranty claim?

To start a claim, you’ll need proof of purchase along with photos of the mattress and the issue you’re experiencing. Our team may also ask for details about your bed frame or foundation to ensure proper support was used. Once submitted, we’ll review everything and guide you through the next steps.  Consult our Limited Warranty for more details.

Will I receive the same type of mattress if mine is replaced?

If your exact model is no longer available, we’ll provide a replacement of comparable or greater quality and value. Our goal is to ensure you continue to receive the same level of comfort and support.

How long does the warranty last?

The Dwell limited warranty begins on the date your mattress is delivered and extends for 10 years.
